Restoring Database Backups Using Jamf Pro Server Tools

You can use Jamf Pro Server Tools to restore a backup of the Jamf Pro database If you need to revert to an earlier version.
Note:
You must stop Tomcat before you restore a database backup.
Requirements
- Jamf Pro Server Tools GUI 2.4.3 or later requires Java 11 and can be used with Jamf Pro 10.14.0 or later. You can download the latest version by clicking the following link: https://archive.services.jamfcloud.com/jamf-pro-server-tools/release/latest/gui/server-tools.jar
- Jamf Pro Server Tools GUI 2.4.2 or earlier requires Java 8 and can be used with Jamf Pro 10.13.0 or earlier. If you need Jamf Pro Server Tools for Java 8, you can download version 2.4.2 from the following webpage: https://archive.services.jamfcloud.com/jamf-pro-server-tools/release/#jamf-pro-server-tools/release/2.4.2/
- Open the Jamf Pro Server Tools GUI by performing the following steps:
- Click Tomcat Settings in the sidebar.
- Click Stop Tomcat.
- Click Backup and Restore in the sidebar.
- Click Restore Backup Now.
- Select the backup file that you want to restore, and click Open.
- Click Tomcat Settings in the sidebar.
- Click Start Tomcat.
