Updated: 15 April 2022
Product: Jamf Pro
This article explains how to use Terminal to find the name of the process you want to create restricted software for in Jamf Pro.
Note:
It is recommended that you restrict the name of the application bundle when restricting a process in an application bundle. For example: "Chess.app".
Requirements
To find the process name for the software you want to restrict, you must open the software on a computer that has the Terminal application.
The process name is listed in the CMD column.
Additional Information
For more information about how to create a restricted software record, see Restricted Software in the Jamf Pro Documentation.
