Deploying the Jamf PKI Proxy as a Docker Container for Windows

Requirements
  1. Install Docker Desktop for Windows.

  2. Download the Jamf PKI Proxy image from the Docker Hub webpage: https://hub.docker.com/r/jamfllc/jamf-pki-proxy/tags
  3. Execute the following command in PowerShell to enter the Windows subsystem for Linux:
    PS> wsl
    
  4. Create /etc/wsl.conf by executing the following commands:
    $ sudo touch /etc/wsl.conf
    $ sudo vim /etc/wsl.conf
    [automount]
    enabled=true
    options="metadata"
  5. Restart Windows.
  6. Execute the following command in PowerShell to enter the Windows subsystem for Linux:
    PS> wsl
  7. Update the file metadata by executing commands similar to the following using your username:
    $ cd /mnt/c/Users/username/AppData/Local/Jamf
    $ chmod 0700 *
  8. Exit the Linux subsystem by executing the following command:
    $ exit
  9. Close PowerShell.
