Requesting Apps for Students

If students do not have an app, you can request it from your school's IT department for your students and classes with App Request.
Note:

This feature may not be supported on your Teacher app depending on the software your school uses to manage devices and the settings your school has configured.

  1. On your school managed device with the Teacher app installed, navigate to the App Store.
  2. Search for the app you want to request.
  3. Tap the Share icon next to the app and tap the Teacher app.
    Note:

    If you do not see the Teacher app, tap More and then select the Teacher app from the list.

  4. Choose the class you want to request the app for.
  5. Do one of the following:
    1. To add all students in the class to the app request, tap Add All Students.
    2. To add specific students to the app request, tap the students you want to add.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Enter a reason for the app request in the Reason for Request field, and tap Submit.
You will receive a notification when the app request is approved or denied. You can also view the status of App Requests by tapping App Requests on the Teacher app dashboard. This displays the apps you have requested and if they have been approved or denied.
