Generating User Account Credentials

For manually created user accounts, you must generate sign-in credentials and send them to users via email.


To send the sign-in credentials to a user, the user account must have an email address associated with the account in Jamf School.


  1. In Jamf School, navigate to Users > Users in the sidebar.

  2. Select the user accounts you want to generate login credentials for and click More > Generate accounts.

  3. Configure login credential settings, including the email message, password length, and password policy.

  4. Click Save.

Users receive an email with their username and password.
