Jamf Support may ask you to make a log file using Apple Configurator 2. This used to pinpoint a possible issue. Creating a log file in Apple Configurator 2 involves the following steps.
Connect the device to a computer with Apple Configurator 2 installed.
In Apple Configurator 2, right-click the device and click Get Info.
On the device info screen, select Console to start logging your device.
Note: Before you start logging the problem, it is recommended to clear the log first. To do so, click Clear at the bottom of the log.
When you are asked to log a issue, try to reproduce the problem as many times as possible. After you reproduce the problem, select your whole log and click Save Selection. This will prompt you to save your log file.
You can then upload the log file of your issue to your Jamf Support ticket.
