Removing a Deployed Email Account From a Device

To remove an email account from devices, you can turn off email on the Blueprint associated with that device. This will remove any previously deployed email accounts.

If you want to remove an email account from a single device on a Blueprint with email enabled, you will need to unassign the user from that device. You can reassign a user to a device at any time.

  1. Log in to Jamf Now.
  2. On the Devices page, click on the device to view more details.
  3. On the "Assigned To" card, click the Action pop-up menu (•••) and select "Unassign device". This will remove the email configuration from the device.
If email settings are configured for the associated Blueprint, new email configurations are sent to the assigned device. If no email settings are configured for the associated Blueprint, no email configurations are sent to the device.
