Preview Feature: Jamf Connect Deployment

You can now enable Jamf Connect on Mac with Jamf Now's feature preview to sync passwords with a user's identity. To use this feature, you need to be on the Jamf Now Plus plan.

To enable Jamf Connect, navigate to Blueprints > Security.


For this preview, end users must manually launch Jamf Connect to enable password synchronization. Automatic launching of Jamf Connect will be available in the future.

With the migration of Jamf Now documentation from its previous location, the following new format will be used for publishing release notes. This release marks the first publication using the new format.

App Workflow Enhancements

We have made improvements to how you search for and add apps to Blueprints.

  • You can now filter for iPad only apps and custom (in-house) apps. The Jamf Now Plus plan is required to deploy custom or in-house apps.

  • You can now sort apps alphabetically by app name, seller, or platform for easier app searching.

  • You can quickly add multiple apps by using the Install All Apps Automatically checkbox to install all available apps, or the Install All Filtered Apps Automatically checkbox to install all filtered apps.

  • You can now remove an app that is in Single App Mode directly from a Blueprint.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented custom apps from displaying that they were in Single App Mode when viewing the app in Jamf Now.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the enrollment of a device in to a Blueprint using Open Enrollment when email was configured in the Blueprint, and the email address for the device included a "+" modifier.
