Determining if an App is Volume Purchasing Enabled

Volume purchasing is a tool from Apple that enables businesses to purchase, deploy, and manage applications in bulk.

Follow these steps to check if an app in your Jamf Now account is volume purchasing enabled:

  1. Log in to Jamf Now.
  2. Click Apps.
  3. You will see a list of the apps you have connected to your Jamf Now account.

    • If an app is volume purchasing enabled, you will see a set of data about the app to the right of the app listing (pictured below).

    • If the app is not volume purchasing enabled, you will see a blank section where the volume purchasing data would otherwise be.

  4. (Optional) If you want to convert a non-volume purchasing app to a volume purchasing-enabled app, click the Action pop-up menu (•••) next to the app, and then select Purchase licenses from the pop-up menu.
