End User License Agreement

You can use Jamf Connect Login to display an end user license agreement (EULA) at the login window, which the user must accept before accessing the computer.

To add a EULA to the Jamf Connect login window, do the following:

  1. Add the EULA mechanism to the Jamf Connect loginwindow application by executing the following command:

    sudo authchanger -reset -OIDC -preAuth JamfConnectLogin:EULA JamfConnectLogin:RunScript,privileged

    Note: If Okta is your cloud identity provider (IdP), replace "-OIDC" with "-Okta".

  2. In Jamf Connect Configuration, do the following:

    1. Click New.

    2. Complete the setup assistant and click Advanced Setup.

    3. Click the Login tab.

  3. Do the following in the End User License Agreement section:

    1. Enter text for your EULA in the Title, Subtitile, and Body Text fields.

    2. Enter a file path where all users who have agreed to the EULA are recorded in the Audit Filepath field.

  4. (Optional) Configure any additional settings for Jamf Connect Login.

  5. Click File > Save.

  6. Choose Jamf Connect Login as the configured application.

  7. Choose Configuration Profile (.mobileconfig) or Property List (.plist) as the file format.

    Note: If saving as a .mobileconfig, you must also complete the payload configuration profile data fields.

  8. Click Save.
