Integrate with an LDAP Directory Service (Optional)

To require users to log in using an LDAP directory account during enrollment, you need to integrate with an LDAP directory service by adding an LDAP server to the JSS. This allows you to collect user and location information during enrollment.

Adding an LDAP Server

  1. Log in to the JSS with a web browser.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, click Settings images/download/thumbnails/12322744/Settings_icon-2.png .

  3. Click System Settings.
    On a smartphone or iPod touch, this option is in the pop-up menu.

  4. Click LDAP Servers images/download/thumbnails/12322744/LDAP_Servers.png .

  5. Click New images/download/thumbnails/12322744/New_icon-3.png .

  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to add the LDAP server.
